A Year of Ripple Effects

It’s been one year since 20|20 first developed our model for identifying and capitalizing on disruptive trends. We call it the 5 Ripples of Disruption. Ripples are small, incremental adjustments that every brand, regardless of product, service or industry, can build upon for growth.

We had no idea we’d still be talking about the ripples after all this time. And while it’s fair to say that EVERYTHING has changed since this framework first emerged from our own research, it’s also fair to say that the ripples may now be more important than ever. Because one thing from the pandemic is clear…the genie is not going back into the bottle. Consumer behavior pre-pandemic and post-pandemic will not be the same, as new norms emerge and accelerate.

With that in mind, in our latest video, we dive into how the five ripples apply to the recent (and rapid) shifts we’ve seen with consumer behavior and how brands can use insights to identify ways to address them.
