20/20 RESEARCH INTERNATIONAL BUSINESS EXPLODES
Nashville, TN, May 5, 2006 – 20/20 Online, a division of 20/20 Research, Inc., a Nashville-based marketing research firm, announced today that 15% of its clientele now comes from overseas, up from 0% just a year ago.
20/20 Online's international customer base comes from such countries as France, England, Brazil, New Zealand, Canada and most recently, Slovenia. The demand from overseas has been so great, in fact, that 20/20 makes its proprietary online software, Qualboard™, available in seven languages: English, French, Spanish, Italian, Japanese, Portuguese and German.
This international expansion, coupled with the recent release of Qualboard™ 2.0, has 20/20 Online on pace to see a 50% increase in revenue in 2006 over 2005. That would mark the fourth straight year with such an increase.
Qualboard™ provides a mechanism for online qualitative marketing research studies to take place without regard for geography using a threaded 'Bulletin Board' technology. Study participants log in at times that are convenient to them, answering questions posted by a moderator while reading and responding to other participants' comments (also called 'posts'). All of this discussion is visible onscreen to the moderator, the participants, and the client observers in a "virtual backroom." In the end, the entire discussion can be downloaded for review and analysis.
ABOUT 20/20 RESEARCH, INC. – In addition to its Online division, 20/20 Research, Inc. (founded in 1986) provides qualitative marketing research (focus group) facilities in Nashville, Charlotte and, most recently, Miami. Impulse Research Corporation, an organization that conducts independent surveys on Focus Group facilities, consistently gives 20/20 Research's Nashville and Charlotte facilities high ratings. In the 2006 edition of the study, both facilities earned the distinction of being two of the "top rated" facilities worldwide.
