Doing Good

Helping from the Heart

We believe that companies and the people who work in them have an obligation to be a part of the community and help solve society’s problems. Some people call it “corporate responsibility,” “charity” or “social justice.” We simply call it Doing Good.

Because of you, our clients, we have been able to give back to our communities and help make the world a better place for everyone.

 Annual Service Week

Service week is an annual tradition for 20|20, with teams of employees serving at a variety of nonprofits in each community. In 2017, more than 100 associates completed over 300 hours of service across four cities.

Sorted 800 pounds of can tabs for the Ronald McDonald House.

Walked and cared for animals at two rescue shelters.

Sorted 34 pallets of food for Second Harvest Food Bank.

Prepared and delivered nearly 100 goodie bags to Ronald McDonald House.

Constructed a fence for Monroe Harding foster care organization.

Sorted and packed 90+ uniforms for the children at The Joseph School.

Service Week in Action

The Joseph School

20|20’s corporate charity is The Joseph School, a secondary leadership school for orphans in Haiti founded by our president, Jim Bryson.

Jim has been involved in Haiti since 2010 and realized his dream when The Joseph School welcomed its first class in October 2015. The goal of the school is to provide education that will help Haiti and its people flourish for years to come, rather than only supplying material aid that helps for a short time. Teach a man to fish.

In June of 2014, seven employees went to Haiti to serve and work at the school. In 2016, we began sponsoring two first-grade students, Batista and Johanna. Our sponsorships have provided them with school supplies, transportation and approximately 630 meals each.

In January of 2017, a group of market researchers visited Haiti as part of a trip organized by the Marketing Research Education Foundation (www.mref.org). To read reflections on that trip as published in Quirks Marketing Research Review, click here.

Visit www.thejosephschool.org to learn more about The Joseph School and how you can get involved.

The service mindset of 20|20 is one of my favorite parts of working here. It is great to be at a company that truly cares about making the community around it a better place.
