Position: Technology Product Manager

Reports to: Chairman / Head of Business Development

General Description of Position: Drive technology solutions from ideation through development to sales, execution and profitability. Become the research technology expert at 20/20 Research and one of the leading experts in technology for qualitative research in the world. Responsible for the development and enhancement of technology products for qualitative fieldwork that meet clients’ needs, conform to 20/20 Research overall strategies and provide a profitable return on investment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Drive ongoing development, enhance execution, promote strong sales efforts and increase profitability of Qualboard™ and related products.
  • Lead development of new fieldwork technology-based products
    • Development of the text-based Qualboard™ product suite
    • Development of a video based suite of products
    • Integration of the text and video based suites.
  • Be an expert with respect to the competition.
  • Work with marketing and sales to develop pricing, targeting, core positioning and messaging of the products.
  • Conduct regularly-scheduled "webinars" for clients/prospects related to 20/20 Research technology products with support from the Sales Administrator.
  • Oversee internal and external (client) training on technology products.
  • Develop speaking opportunities at conferences and other industry meetings to promote 20/20 fieldwork and technology products.
  • Responsible for P&L and investment capital for technology products.
  • Specify current and future product requirements by conducting quarterly market research among clients and non-clients.
Requirements:
  • 5+ years qualitative research industry experience
  • Experience using online qualitative software and methodologies
  • Experience in the life cycle of a product/service â€" ideation, research, development, go-to-market
  • Dynamic personality / outstanding interpersonal communication skills
  • Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills
  • Demonstrated understanding of technology development and application
  • Previous P&L responsibility
  • Willing to travel
